Maria has attained an extensive 16-year experience working for a well-respected law firm where she was leading the Real Estate Department.

She was also involved in civil litigation with emphasis on Commercial and Corporate issues and especially in international corporate/commercial litigation cases, worldwide freezing injunctions (Mareva) and search orders (Norwich Pharmacal).

Her main practice areas at Tetyana Achilleos LLC include the handling of complex corporate and commercial contracts for Cypriot and international clients as well as mergers & acquisitions, cross border conversions, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, trust formations, representation and counselling of local and foreign clients in transactions relating to asset and share acquisitions, shareholders’ agreements, share and purchase agreements, assignment agreements, loan agreements, employment agreements and the handling of real estate transactions.
