Stella Koukounis, has been practicing law in Cyprus for over 16 years, with a particular focus on wider corporate, commercial, banking, and finance law. Early in her career she was appointed head of corporate of a leading corporate service provider, followed by being the designated legal advisor and representative of a Swiss family office and their operations in Cyprus. Stella has been creating, expanding and managing multi-disciplinary teams of over 30 persons based in Cyprus and abroad. She garnered the coveted Choice Award by Lexology two consecutive years, in 2015 and 2016, for her outstanding level of service. Stella and her team have represented for two consecutive years, the organisers of the largest electronic music Festival ever performed in Cyprus “Beonix” and supported legally and the cultural and entertainment events, at the revived ETKO premises in Limassol.

In addition to her legal practice, Stella is frequently invited as speaker in conferences in Cyprus and abroad, on topics such as corporate law and leadership, ESG and due diligence, corporate finance in renewable energy transactions. Recently, Stella has been invited to teach in law, sharing her experience in corporate, commercial and finance transaction law with other professionals.
