• Phanos Kouroufexis
    The Minister of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance's associate since 2013.
    Phanos earned his initial B.Sc. from the University of Cyprus on the quantitative field of Management Science. He has also studied law in the University of Nicosia (Bachelor of Laws – LLM), Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science, receiving best performance awards in all three institutions. He has worked in the HR field from different positions, including recruitment, compensation & benefits, employment law and most notably, organizational change in large organizations. He is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association (CyHRMA).

    Phanos has extensive experience on organizational change, with the broader sense of the term, mainly in large organizations undergoing dramatic change. Currently, he is working with the Minister of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance on the reform of the social policy and the labour market, including work incentives, as well as the restructuring of the Ministry and its departments.

    Phanos is - and has always been - a very active citizen and is involved in various voluntary organizations. He has also served a 5 year term as a municipal councilor in the Strovolos municipality.
